ARAB LEAGUE
The Arab League formally known as the League of Arab States was formed in Cairo on 22 March 1945 and constitutes of 22 nations. The league was formed to foster economic growth in the region, resolve disputes between its members, and coordinate political aims. In order to bring together all the Arab Countries with the purpose of promoting and strengthening cooperation, the members of the Arab League formed a council with each state receiving one vote. The delegates in this committee are expected to work towards the purpose of the Arab League which is to promote closer political, economic, cultural and social relations among the members and to settle disputes peacefully.
