UNITED NATIONS ENVIRONMENTAL PROGRAM

The United Nations Environmental Programme (UNEP),  established in June 1972, is a leading authority in the United Nations which strengthens environmental standards and helps implement policies regarding the environment at country, regional and global levels. With currently facing the question of the regulation of whale hunting by the international whaling commission and the repercussions of the environmental damage caused by the wildfire throughout the world, primarily Indonesia, Africa and the Amazon Basin, UNEP expresses its interest in finding plausible and implementable solutions.
