CRISIS COMMITTEE
The Crisis Committee was built from the ground up, as a completely unique MUN experience, with the sole intent of challenging veterans of the MUN community, all the while promising something that is fresh, fun, and engaging. With the term ‘Crisis’ in the name, it is easy to tell that by and large, this committee will focus on combating and solving one crisis situation over the course of the conference.
In this committee, one crisis looms over every single delegate: the departure of Hong Kong from The PRC. Delegates will be tested on their abilities to think critically on the fly as well as their abilities to adapt to specific changes in the committee, all while sticking to their unique agendas. As such, it is strongly advised that all delegates do thorough research on the powers and functions of their positions and, by extension, how their positions can relate to the ongoing crisis.
The Crisis Committee will be subject to an evolving crisis situation, that will run throughout the conference and change/update based on the committee's actions. As such, every delegate’s actions will have weight and be held under scrutiny.
